NASCO also has partnered with the John Jay University Center for Security to develop and maintain an electronic database of state licensing laws, regulations and other requirements for security officer licensing that is exclusive to NASCO members. NASCO also uses a national state legislative tracking service to stay up to date on legislative and regulatory developments at the state level that affect security companies and officers.
